Overview: Many content providers use Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), which are a collection of servers in distributed data centers, to make rich media available to online consumers. Although a traditional CDN can help accelerate rich media delivery and mitigate the cost of infrastructure to the content provider, to fulfill the increasing consumer demands, the traditional CDN must continually invest in additional data centers and servers.
