Overview: This paper published by Tec-Ed describes that Extended Validation (EV) Research Study explored people’s reported level of trust in extended validation SSL after they learned what it means and offers. Conducted as a ""Blind"" study, it consisted of 384 individual sessions, each 20 minutes long, facilitated remotely via WebEx and telephone. Participants viewed Flash prototypes of fictitious web pages shown in an Internet Explorer 7 window and responded to the facilitator’s scripted questions and to a displayed rating scale.
