Overview: A strategic approach to HP Web Jetadmin Discovery is discussed in this paper. HP Web Jetadmin Discovery is the process of searching the network for devices, storing them in a cache, and then displaying the results in a device list. HP Web Jetadmin software contains many different discovery mechanisms, each using a method of either listening to the network or actively generating network signals and waiting for device replies. This paper focuses on a superior technique for discovering many network-connected devices but will start with a few factors that may limit device discovery.
