Overview: This paper provides information about extending existing IBM Lotus Domino databases to BlackBerry users. A person can extend applications in two ways: he or she can use the BlackBerry Browser or create a custom application. Using the IBM Lotus Domino conversation forum template as an example, this paper exhibits how one can quickly mobilize an IBM Lotus Domino database for BlackBerry users. IBM Lotus Domino databases store, process, and display data in an easy-to-understand format. The Domino Designer tool enables to build new databases, database controls, or user interfaces.
