Overview: HP Web Jetadmin is a powerful web-based software utility for installing, configuring and managing network-connected devices. Since it can install and configure devices, it must be able to secure itself against unwanted access. Not only can it secure itself against unwanted users, it can also secure the devices it manages against unwanted access. Securing devices is important for many reasons as reduces printer down time and helpdesk calls, minimizes troubleshooting visits and minimizes consumable usage. HP Web Jetadmin offers several levels of authentication and privacy to secure devices and itself against unwanted access.
