Overview: Phishing usually means creating a fake web-site, created in such a way that it looks similar to the genuine one It is actually the attacker that attempts to lure genuine users onto in order to harvest their login details. This will cover the related issue of Trojan software that is specifically designed to capture passwords as they are entered by a user into a web site. Phishing is derived from the phrase ’Password harvesting fishing’ and describes the process of luring sensitive information, such as a password and other personal information, from a victim by masquerading as someone trustworthy.
