Overview: This paper updates to the ""Editing Security Files"" section in the ""Configuring Cluster"" chapter of Managing Serviceguard. This comprises of information on how Serviceguard validates incoming commands and what needs to be configured in the name resolution services and Serviceguard security files. The introduction of Serviceguard Access control policies in version A.11.16 resulted in subtle changes in the configuration and behavior of these files.
