(0)Overview: This paper published by Communications Regulatory Authority studies, describes a broad look to the issues of electronic security, distinguishing main threats to maintain security and finding the measures to effectively deal with such problems. It was executed in Lithuania shown that 85% of the Internet users, 79% of enterprises and 100% of the ISPs face computer viruses and spam. This forces to view the situation systematically and to immediately react by developing separate security incidents and management mechanisms. The influence of security incidents on electronic communications networks is constantly growing.
