Overview: Milestone Internet Marketing,based in Santa Clara, Calif., is a provider of Internet marketing solutions for the lodging industry. As the company added customers and services, Milestone found managing and recognizing revenue to be an escalating challenge. Because its clients not only pay for Web site creation and management but also a host of incremental features and services that are invoiced in a variety of ways, revenue tracking was inconsistent, and its customer service capability suffered. The company chose to implement the Microsoft Dynamics ERP system and Tensoft Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to improve invoicing capacity, improve productivity, streamline reporting, improve customer service, and ensure greater financial reliability. Tensoft RCM combines with the core financial and reporting capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics to provide one central location and one integrated system to automate a company’s lifecycle business processes such as billing and contract renewals, as well as revenue recognition and management. Using fully auditable and traceable processes, it is a strong fit for companies challenged by complex billing processe, according to Tensoft.
