StorageCentral SRM: Cluster Support

Overview: A Windows 2000 clustered server can be installed using Windows 2000 Advanced Server and Clustering Services. To support load balancing and high availability, the cluster resources are split among two or more nodes. This is called an Active/Active cluster. Each node in the cluster is the preferred owner of different resources. Storage Central SRM 5.0 supports the high availability of its managed objects and policies in several ways. This paper looks at where object and policy information is stored and how it is made available before and after cluster failover.
