Overview: The HP StorageWorks Utility Ready Storage program is a utility pricing solution that allows one to select the storage configuration. The key to Utility Ready Storage is HP ensures storage capacity never runs out by providing a capacity management service under a service level agreement (SLA). HP metering technology that automatically measures and reports storage capacity utilization the metering technology consists of two separate appliances that are shipped with the storage system and reside securely behind firewall.
