Overview: This paper notes that if a customer is deployed and extended the Sun Data Center Reference Architecture to become its Service Delivery Platform, then the customer chooses a SAN implementation with Brocade SilkWorm 24000 Director Core Fabric Switches and Sun StorEdge 9990 series (based on Hitachi Data Systems’ TagmaStorage Universal Storage Platform), with a storage and a management cluster using Sun Fire V440 servers. The target systems for the Proof of Concept (POC) were two Sun Enterprise 20K servers with three domains each.
