Overview: The advent of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) answers the growing demand for more flexible storage solutions that deliver both higher performance and greater economics. SAS retains the proven strengths of its parallel predecessor (rock-solid reliability, a rich and mature command set) while achieving exceptional throughput and remarkable scalability.
