Overview: Ever get into a disagreement with another rep over seemingly trivial issues? Ever cause a customer to become distress without quite understanding why? If so, there may be intergenerational issues at work in the customer service center. Different generations come equipped with different interpersonal attitudes, value systems and work ethics and when people from different age or generational groups work together or when a rep from one generation is handling customers who belong to another generation, these outlook and values come into play and conflict arises.
