Overview: After completing this lab, you will be better able to work with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 contains an improved out of the box site template. This template creates the starter site when SharePoint Server 2007 is installed, which can be used to build out the Intranet presence site. One important change in Office SharePoint Server 2007 is a common template between Windows SharePoint Services (version 3) and Office SharePoint Server 2007. This eliminates the inconsistencies in navigation in the previous versions of the technologies.
