As part of Window 7, Microsoft has introduce a new feature called AppLocker that is intended to protect endpoints from malware. Preventing the execution of unauthorized software on endpoints must be a priority for any security conscious organization. Doing so is the only way to effectively prevent software piracy and malware infections, while maintaining a tightly controlled baseline configuration.
