Overview: Windows Server 2008 supports firmware revisions based on the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) Version 2.0 or later specification on x64 64-bit platforms and Intel Itanium platforms. Windows Server 2008 also supports firmware revisions based on the EFI Version 1.10 specification on Intel Itanium platforms.
