Overview: Maroochy Shire Council has two customer service centers located in Nambour and Maroochydore. They were facing problems like: Disconnected line-of-business systems and data repositories, inaccurate information and inefficient processes, No integrated environment where staff could share information. Maroochy Shire Council participated in Microsoft Queensland Spotlight 2007 program and created a prototype portal based on Microsoft Office SharePointServer 2007.
