Overview: Englewood Hospital and Medical Center is a 520-bed, acute-care hospital in Englewood, New Jersey. It is affiliated with the Mount Sinai school of medicine in New York. The hospital has more than 650 physicians and 2,500 staffers, working on about 1,000 desktop computers. Instead of running several versions of the Windows operating system, the hospital wanted to standardize for easier maintenance and security management. It also sought to attract and retain a tech-savvy work force. Englewood Hospital worked with Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Quality Technology Solutions to upgrade to the Windows Vista operating system.
