Overview: Point and Print is the Windows feature that automatically downloads and installs a printer driver when a user connects to a shared printer. Point and Print also updates the printer driver on the client computer when the driver configuration is updated on the print server. This paper provides system administrators with the best practices for configuring Point and Print security on Windows Vista client computers in environments where print servers and client computers might have different versions of Windows.
