Overview: A portion of Windows Longhorn technologies is available to early birds, who want to get their hands dirty on new stuff. WinFX is a set of next-generation managed API?s that is provided by Microsoft for Windows Longhorn platform. In 2004, Microsoft released the latest version of WinFX SDK called the Community Technology Preview Edition of the Microsoft WinFX Software Development Kit (SDK), which contains documentation, samples, command-line compilers, and tools designed to help a person develop managed applications and libraries using WinFX.
