Overview: The Radio Interface Layer, RIL, provides a key component of the underlying technology that is critical for enabling wireless voice or data applications using Windows Mobile software to seamlessly communicate with a GSM/GPRS or CDMA2000 1X modem. The RIL interfaces between the CellCore layer in Windows Mobile and the radio protocol stack within the wireless baseband system (modem).
