Combined Pre- And Post-Equalization for Uplink Time Division Duplex MC-CDMA in Fading Channels

Date: January 2008
Type: White Paper
Rating: (0)

Overview: Uplink Time Division Duplex Multi-Carrier Code-Division Multiple-Access (TDD/MC-CDMA) systems recently attained increasing significance in mobile radio communications. TDD/MC-CDMA operates on the premise, that there is a strong correlation between up- and downlink channel conditions. The main advantage of TDD/MC-CDMA is that the effects of the channel on the uplink signal can be pre-equalized at the mobile station based on the channel estimation from the downlink signal. This paper from Kluwer Academic Publishers proposes combined pre- and post-equalization for uplink TDD/MC-CDMA systems in fading channels.
