Overview: The 3G mobile communication of IMT-2000 has been developing the cdma2000 in North America and W-CDMA in Europe and Japan. 3GPP2 and 3GPP are in progress for the standardization of both systems. When compared to the legacy circuit network having the structure to offer only voice and circuit data service of the low speed, the feature of IMT-2000 network structure is the point to have the additional network structure for interworking RAN(Radio Area Network) and Packet network(for instance, IP Network), which can provide the mobility of IP service.
