Availability Modelling of the 3GPP R99 Telecommunication Networks

Source: Nokia
Date: January 2008
Type: White Paper
Rating: (0)

Overview: This paper, presents the availability modeling for the 3GPP R99 network architecture. The analytical availability modeling approach has been used. Analytical availability models can be broadly classified into two groups: non-state space (e.g. reliability block diagrams) and state-space models (e.g. Markov models). These models are briefly discussed. The reliability block diagram method is easier to use and has been applied to model the availability of the 3GPP R99 network architecture.
