Annuncio Upgrades Marketing Automation Suite

Annuncio Inc. this week will release Annuncio Live 2, anupdate to its Internet-marketing automation suite that was designed to be more flexible and easier to use.

Annuncio Live 2 doesn't offer much more functionality than the original Annuncio Live, which lets businesses analyze customer data and tailor E-mail and marketing campaigns for specific consumer groups. But Annuncio Live 2 is intended to make it easier for businesses to set up and populate marketing campaigns with customer data.

The new version will let marketing managers tinker with content during a campaign, should they need to correct errors or alter the campaign because of customer feedback, says Monica Nestor, Annuncio's VP of marketing. Before Annuncio Live 2, any changes required managers to halt campaigns in progress.

Users will be able to import customer data from marketing databases and transactional applications, such as customer- relationship management packages, or to export data into direct-mail systems for traditional campaigns. The product is available immediately, starting at $150,000 for a license or $15,000 per month for a subscription to a hosted marketing service.
