Aspect Software, one of the leading contact center vendors focused on UC, has acquired BlueNote Networks, which helps companies communications enables their business processes. I have been impressed with Aspect's strategy in the past and also admire BlueNote; the combination of two strong companies with clear UC plays can only be a good thing (assuming the merger is handled well).
