Daniel Kent is the Chief Technology Officer for the Cisco Systems Public Sector organization. Currently, his team is focusing on integrating technologies like cloud computing, IoT, software-defined networking, cybersecurity, and collaboration.

Mr. Kent has worked in the public sector communications field for over 25 years. Mr. Kent's prior positions include 10 years at Nortel Networks as the Director of Engineering and as a senior consulting engineer for Network Solutions, Inc.
