Dell, Hewlett-Packard, and Sun have all announced new SMB virtualization products within the last few days.
Intel has unveiled a new low-wattage, high-power version of the Xeon processor that offers hope for data centers considering moving to Greenland to stay cool. At the low end, bMighty also offers solutions for small offices.
Dell has announced a new line of servers tuned to the needs of the small-business market, while Microsoft has announced that its upcoming virtualization product will be a free download.
Sun has unveiled new desktop virtualization software, and Hewlett-Packard has announced several new or enhanced products that promote the use of virtualization, including a bade server designed to work in that environment. But more announcements are needed.
