IoT Is About Analysis, Not Things

When we emphasize "things" in the Internet of Things, we obscure its real value-the ability to make connected decisions based on analysis.

@Danielcawrey I agree. It really is about the sensors rather the things. But I guess IOS was already taken as an acronym.

You make an important point about not confusing the means with the end. Connecting things is just another means of picking up data. But as with all analytics the real value comes from figuring out the significance of that data and applying it to your strategy.
