Not limited to one area
The other important factor is that this is not limited to sales or marketing. These can be even use in HR to understand employee turnovers, performance issues as well as to perform man power planning.

If we use big data in a most efficient way it will help the business to understand the performance trends. Customer behaviors, most profitable product/service, customer complaints will help the business to add more value and work on areas of improvements.
