Malaysian banking conglomerate CIMB Group has tapped Electronic Data Systems to run the bulk of its IT infrastructure systems under a 10-year deal worth about $200 million, an EDS spokesman confirmed Friday.

Under the agreement, EDS will provide CIMB with application development and infrastructure management services. The service provider plans to formally announce the deal on Monday.
