With its new top executive for Google Cloud Platform, Diane Greene, in place, Alphabet's subsidiary is planning to quadruple its cloud regions and ramp up hiring in these areas.

What I meant is that AWS still got Netflix, which is a giant in streaming businesses and thus has huge amount of users.

AWS and GCE
Google is going to great lengths to compete against AWS. Meanwhile, AWS has lost a lot. First DropBox and then Apple, but again they got Netflix. I have used Google Compute Engine and AWS both, through Cloudways hosting solution. In my experience, AWS was little better than GCE, but was little expensive as well.
