Microsoft Azure Expands Into Canada, South Korea

Microsoft is investing $15 billion to establish the Azure Cloud as a worldwide presence. Canada and South Korea are part of its expansion roadmap.

Amazon also continues to expand its regions
Amazon operated in 12 regions around the world with a total of 32 availability zones, each roughly equivalent to a data center, at the end of 2015. Since then its announced 2016 expansion plans into Columbus, Ohio; Montreal, Canada; Slough, England; Ningxia, China; and an undisclosed location in India. That will bring its total to 17.
