Coca-Cola Bottler Selects Manugistics For Supply-Chain Apps

Manugistics said today that Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated (CCBCC), the nation's second largest Coca-Cola bottler, has selected Manugistics supply-chain software to centralize and streamline planning functions.

CCBCC will deploy Manugistics6, a supply-chain suite, which will be integrated with the bottler's existing enterprise resource planning system. CCBCC has identified supply-chain management as an important part of its strategy for continued growth while holding the line on expenses.

Key factors in deciding to deploy Manugistics' products were the software's open architecture and the company's supply chain expertise, CCBCC says.
