Here's a quick way to add and remove hyperlinks in a Word document.

Highlight where you want to insert a hyperlink -- then hit the key combo [Ctrl][K]. That brings up the Insert Hyperlink screen.

If you need to remove a hyperlink, hit [Ctrl][Shift][F9].
