I've rounded up some of the top blogs I read to help gather and make sense of the news I'm seeing out there. Check these out, and add your favorites in the comments section.Of course, I report on VoIP, telecom, and networking, so several of these blogs are heavy on those subjects, but I've also included a few that should be in everybody's bookmarks. Without further ado...
1. Om Malik's Blog: Possibly the most prolific (and best) VoIP and broadband blogger out there. Well worth becoming a staple in your diet.
2. Techdirt: Witty, insightful, and well-rounded blog on tech issues. And it always looks at the big picture.
3. Slashdot: Geek heaven, the original version.
4. Digg: Geek heaven 2.0.
5. Tech.Memeorandum: One-stop shopping for tech news discussions from around the Web. Heavy rotation for tons of bloggers.
6. The Jeff Pulver Blog: Pulver is definitely a thought leader in VoIP. Want to know where telephony should be headed? Go see Jeff.
7. IP Democracy Blog: Ask not what technology can do for you, ask what it can do for your country.
8. Networking Pipeline Blog: Networking Pipeline's Preston Gralla gets snarky.
9. Paul Kapustka's Blog: Paul's a colleague whom I don't get to see much except at shows, but he's got a good grip on all things telephony, and I like to see what he's up to.
10. Skype Journal: These guys know more about Skype than Skype does.
