GM Adds R&D Staff In India
Just how completely do companies trust the technical talent in India? General Motors has opened a technical center in Bangalore that will do engineering and research and development to be used in products around the world. The research will include areas such as computer-aided design, engineering, and manufacturing. About 260 people will work at the center collaborating with GM engineers in tech centers in North America, China, and Australia. The Bangalore center will run two daily shifts, allowing GM to do engineering work 24 hours a day.
