Another Online Source For Linux Laptop Help

Need help with a Linux laptop or mobile device? Here is a pointer to an important online resource that I neglected to mention in my last post on this subject.
Need help with a Linux laptop or mobile device? Here is a pointer to an important online resource that I neglected to mention in my last post on this subject.Last week, I ran through five leading Web sites for Linux-related help, how-to articles, and documentation. All of those sites offer at least some content dealing specifically with Linux laptops, and some of them offer quite a bit of help in this area.

There is another site, however, that focuses exclusively on helping Linux laptop and mobile device users. Besides offering documentation, howtos, and FAQs related to Linux laptops, TuxMobil.org provides additional information for users with Linux-based netbooks, tablet computers, PDAs and smartphones, and even portable entertainment or GPS devices.

And if you're running a laptop or movile device on BSD, Solaris, or another Unix-like operating system -- admittedly a specialty niche -- Tuxmobil is a great place to find useful information.

Tuxmobil also offers a couple of additional bonuses for laptop Linux users in need of help. First, it keeps a fairly complete list of mobile Linux resources in languages other than English. In addition, TuxMobil maintains versions of the site tailored for access via i-mode phones, PDAs, and standard WAP-enabled phones and mobile devices.
