The companies announced this week that Bantu's enterprise instant messaging technology has been integrated with CommerceQuest's Traxion Enterprise Business Process Management Suite. The firms hope to appeal to business customers concerned about the security, integration, deployment time and scalability of instant messaging they use as part of managing internal processes.
The Bantu partnership will let CommerceQuest customers communicate quickly within an environment that captures correspondence in an XML-based audit trail for record-keeping. More than 500 companies now use Traxion to help them define and approve business processes.
The combined technology will allow customers to work in real time to complete processes such as order entry and budgeting in a collaborative way, CommerceQuest said.
