Proud declaration above the query-box: "Search 1,326,920,000 Web pages"?Now you can go back and relive those glory days by visiting http://www.google.com/search2001.html, where Google (on the occasion of its tenth anniversary) has put up its old site, linked to the oldest index it could find (which dates to 2001).

You can get a sense of how old the index is by running a few quick searches. A search on RedDot brings back hits on InfoOffice (with nary a mention of Open Text). A search on Alfresco brings back a lot of links to Italian food sites.
