Kronos Inc. on Thursday said it has acquired ClarityMatters Inc., a workforce analytics software maker.

Kronos, a Chelmsford, Mass.-based, workforce management company, said the acquisition was an all-cash purchase, but declined to give further details.

In a statement, Kronos said Atlanta-based ClarityMatters, which has been a partner since 2004, gives Kronos the analytics technology it needs to extend its offerings in the workforce-management market.

ClarityMatters's technology would soon be available as an integrated application within Kronos's Workforce Central suite. The ClarityMatters software includes a library of more than 150 workforce-performance indicators, dashboards and multi-dimensional analysis tools.
