Weightwatchers Magazine
I have also noticed a significant improvement in the Weightwatchers magazine. It went from stodgy to cutting edge in the last couple of issues. An amazing transformation.

Re: A snazzy, sleek app may be just what the doctor ordered
In researching this story, it was quite amazing to see all the research supporting Weight Watchers approach to weight loss (I've been blessed with a pretty good metabolism and haven't needed their services, at least yet!). The company realizes and admits it's been late to the app party and hopes to turn that around, in part by hiring Dan Crowe as CTO and focusing on tech. Interestingly, Crowe was on the most recent earnings call with the company CEO, which i thought projected a pretty strong message to shareholders (and Crowe, for that matter) about the faith WW is putting into tech.

A snazzy, sleek app may be just what the doctor ordered
If consumers actually want a diet they can stick with for life, then WW is it.  Unfortunately, there are far too many trendy, joke diets on the market and the average American is dumb as a box of rocks unable to distinguish between quality vs. me-too marketing.
