IBM To Ship Small Business Suite For NT

IBM says it will ship its Small Business Suite for WindowsNT by the end of the month. The product will bundle IBM's Universal Database with the Lotus Domino collaboration and E-mail server, and will also include capabilities for modem pooling and fax serving.

The package will also include application templates that users can modify in order to set up office directories and handle online discussions, document management, and other business-management tasks.

IBM says the suite will be priced at $499 per server, and $99 per registered user. Five- and 10-user licenses will be priced at $469 and $899, respectively. A server and five user licenses will go for $968, and a package with 25 user licenses will sell for $2,766.
