Informatica PowerCenter 7, the company's main data integration platform, can be deployed on the SAP Web Application Server 6.40 component of SAP NetWeaver. It can be integrated into SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0 via iView software. Informatica announced the new certification from SAP on Tuesday.
Informatica and SAP first partnered four years ago, and the data integration vendor claims 400 customers that also use SAP applications. Informatica tools have already been certified for use with SAP's Data Migration Interface and business intelligence tools.
