Ventana QuickTake™

IDS Scheer’s annual ProcesWorld conference provided insight into a growing business process technology provider that has capitalized on a strong partnership with SAP. Over the last year, IDS Scheer has been working on a technology that integrates with SAP Netweaver to finally bring a process-centric platform to organizations using SAP. IDS Scheer’s focus on process modeling and performance-centric capabilities — like analysis, planning, simulation and score carding — is ready for organizations using SAP R/3. Organizations should consider IDS Scheer before adopting the entire application platform of SAP Netweaver. Ventana Research believes that IDS Scheer’s approach to leveraging its ARIS platform for measuring and monitoring business processes before automating and controlling them — an industry best practice which is not very well followed — is right on target.
