Interop London Offers Startups Free Exhibit Space

Startups in the enterprise IT market can enter to win free exhibition space at Interop London, June 2015.

Interop London is holding a competition to give away 10 exhibiting spaces to startups with new and innovative products aimed at IT professionals.

Tech startups from around the world are invited to enter the Tech Startup 10 competition to be considered for a prize worth circa £7,000. The prize includes stand space and access to mentoring sessions within Interop London, the flagship event of London Technology Week.

The judging panel includes representatives from a variety of organizations with a wide range of experiences from startup success stories to big business expertise. Judges include:

Blaise Hammond, Marketing Director, techUK
Susanne Chishti, CEO & Founder, FINTECH Circle
Jack Cator, Founder, HideMyAss!
Michele Davidson-Jones, Senior Account Manager, UK Trade & Investment
John Welsh, Managing Director, Digital & Content, UBM EMEA
Oojal Jhutti, Founder & Chief Everything Officer, iWazat

The judges will come together in May to deliberate over the entries. Startups must be two years old or younger, have a product ready for the enterprise market, and provide a short elevator pitch video. Full details of the contest requirements and a link to the entry form are available now.

“The startup ecosystem is of particular interest to our audience of IT and tech pros. They, more than anyone, need to remain abreast of new technological advances, potential business disruption and innovations which could change the way their organizations do business  – after all it is they who will be tasked with introducing and integrating any new tech across business functions,” said Interop London event manager, Josué Paulos.

“Providing this free marketing opportunity to startups is also central to Interop London’s sustainability credentials," said Paulos. "As one of UBM EMEA’s ISO 20121 accredited events we are committed to contributing positively to the communities we serve and leaving a positive legacy behind after the event in June closes. We’re excited to take a look at the entries, choose 10 winners with our judging panel, and hopefully facilitate some fantastic deals for the winners during the show.”

Applications are open now. The deadline to submit an entry is April 28. The winners will be announced in May. You can meet them at Interop London, which takes place during London Technology Week 2015 at ExCeL London, June 16 through 18.

Interop Las Vegas is April 27 through May 1. Register now to learn the latest technology developments, accelerate your career, and network with your peers in the IT community.
