InteropNet Opens Call For Proposals

InteropNet and the SDN Lab welcome vendor proposals to participate and demonstrate new technologies at Interop Las Vegas.

Interop has opened its request for proposals and participation for InteropNet and the SDN Lab.

InteropNet is a production network built and operated by vendor partners and volunteers for Interop Las Vegas. InteropNet, which is designed from scratch each year, provides network access for exhibitors and attendees at Interop. It also provides a unique opportunity to demonstrate new technologies working in a production environment.

The SDN Lab tests Software-Defined Networking systems and applications using both open source tools and vendor hardware and software. The SDN Lab is designed as an educational resource for the IT community to demonstrate features, functions, and principals of SDN. Attendees can interact with the lab via white board sessions led by network experts.

Vendor participation in InteropNet and the SDN Lab puts your hardware and software in front of IT professionals in a unique format.

For more information, check out Interop Radio host Curt Franklin’s interview with an InteropNet volunteer who helped set up the SDN Lab at Interop New York 2014.

Vendors interested in taking part can download the RFP to get full details about the program, including requirements and benefits. The RFP closes at 5:00 pm PST on Friday, December 12, 2014.
