Avanquest Software Publishing today announced its Office Professional Line. Comprised of four programs--word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database--the programs are compatible with Microsoft Office.

Users can seamlessly open, edit, and save files directly to the corresponding Word, Excel, and PowerPoint file formats, and exchange files with Office users without requiring complicated translation programs.

The programs also include PDF support, which means that files can be saved to the Adobe PDF format.

The applications retail for $49.95 apiece, which includes a dueal license that allows uers to legally install copies for use at home and at work.

The software is compatible with systems running Windows 98/ME/2000, or XP with 256 MB of memory.
