On the opening day of Apple's iPhone App Store, Oracle made available software to enable its Business Intelligence customers to access information via their iPhones.Oracle's Business Indicators iPhone apps enable customers to get sent such Business Intelligence information as alerts and updates based on predefined criteria, or to retrieve other information in graphical or tabular format. The iPhone applications are free to existing Business Intelligence customers.

Oracle plans to roll out other iPhone apps that will let mobile customers approve decisions via their phones and use the kind of sales forecasting features found in the company's CRM software.InformationWeek
